"Corteo," which means procession in Italian, follows the funeral of the clown Mauro and the fellow circus performers in attendance. While that might sound like a bit of a downer, the show itself is not.

Is Corteo kid friendly? Like most of Cirque du Soleil shows, Corteo is meant to entertain the whole family. That being said, it does contain loud noises and some dark scenes.

“Corteo” follows the story of a clown who imagines his own funeral taking place at a carnival as graceful acrobats, lively music and stunning costumes transport audience members to a gravity-defying world. “In this show, you will see all of his dreams come to life,” Senior Tour Director Michael Veilleux said.

Although you will generally hear French and English spoken on-site, many other languages are spoken: Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and more.
